Domain Locking

    i have purchased domain name
    i want to know that is my domain name locked automaticaly or i have to lock it...
    can anyone use it...
    how to check that domain name is locked ???

    Until the provider emails you confirmation of such, don't assume it's "yours".

    Anyone can use it, but only one can "own" it. I use gmail.com, but I don't own
    it at all.

    If you do a WHOIS and the line status says CLIENT: TRANSFER-PROHIBITED,
    then it's locked, assuming it's a CNOBI (Com/Net/Org/Biz/Info) domain name.

    but still i doesn't find in WHOIS that TRANFER-PROHIBITED
    there is no option about this
    In my site WHOIS ( at domaintools.com ) it is written that ICANN registrar and status is OK and Active website but i have to conform that my domain is locked
    can you give any site WHOIS where it is written that TRANFER-PROHIBITED
