    hi,
i need help on this one. I recently bought a domain, and it is a pr3. Atleast it was. I bought just 2 days ago named , http://saveharrypotter.info
It showed pr 3 when i bought, and even checked if it was legit. However, every site i go on the google tool bar seems to be accurate, but this domain shows pr as n/a. Every domain checker shows pr 3. can someone tell me what's going on? i'd like to know if it was fake, or the toolbar has a prob. Does every1 see pr as N/a on toolbar or pr 3.

    Thanks,
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cease and Desist...

Meaning J. K. Rowling might be active in protecting her trademark / copywrite with that name.

I doubt you will get any refund.

I would continue creating your fan site (if thats your intent). There are thousands of fan sites using famous names in their domain that are up and running. Celebrities seem to be more lenient... when it comes to getting any "free publicity" than say, B. Gates.

I would also try searching for info you can find on sites being taken down due to trademark / copywrite names... just in case.

BTW: I see a PR 3 for the domain in those "PR" checker sites... but I see "unranked" with my FireFox extension. I don't know why.

This is what I think. I believe the Domain Name probably was rated PR3 before when it was at least more active but now that it is just a redirect to SEDO, the PR rating is removed since if there is any PR now, it is the PR of SEDO.

The original Reason for this is the actual page which shows up when you click the link . As soon as you see the link it shows a lengthy page which Has no page rank so It will show you the same thing
Its not like that you dont have Page rank You have a Page rank . When you will remove the site from Sedo's name servers then you will get your page rank as it was before
