Domain is already in use by another account.

This is impossible. The COOP has never been on the site I'm currently adding it to.

But, obviously, somebody has the site added to their account for whatever reason. I'm not interested in ruffling any feathers, I just want to know what's going on.

That's all. How can I remedy this situation?

 

This is what I think, but I can be wrong. Very early on.. users were able to add other sites into the co-op without installing the code first. People would do this out of curiosity to see how much weight would come from a given site. I remember somebody adding CNN.com to see how much weight that would give. It's possible an account was created for your domain based on this. If you provide your URL, Shawn can probably deactivate the previous account.. so you can start clear.
