Now we're in the century with the most changes to technology in history, the domain industry is going into it's peak time of registrations and updates.

    - Approval of a minimum of 10 new extensions (.xxx, .on, .blog, .ent, .llc, .corp and many more!)
    - Multi-level DNS capability (threaded domain name, built-in failover)
    - Custom domain name extension registration ($1,000,000+ application)
    - Easy ICANN affiliate registration ($15,000+) for lots more registrars.
    - LLL.com will be worth a minimum of $8,500 (current: $3,500)
    - CCC.com will be worth a minimum of $700 (current: $300)
    - LLL.net will be worth a minimum $1,500 (current: $800)
    - LLL.org will be worth a minimum of $500 (current: $150)
    - LL.com will be worth $1 million and more.

However, the more domain extensions that are made the more valuable .COM will be worth, and with 10 new extensions .COM will become more rare out of the whole ecosystem of domains which means getting it will convert much more for businesses. It's going to be so interesting to watch.

What do you think will happen in 10 years time for the domain industry?
