Was curious as to if i were to purchase a domain name from a place other then where i have my server space and forward the domain, how that would effect SEO? For example lets say i purchase example.info at one host and at the other host were i have my server space i create a subdomain of a domain i already purchased from example.example2.com then forward example.info to that subdomain...is there a way to get webcrawlers to see the information in example.example2.com as example.info??? hope i explained that correctly...

Nope, but if you're on decent virtual hosting you should be able to add other domains and then just change the DNS servers. I know on the very lowest hostgator plan you get one domain but the next level up is still dirt cheap and you get unlimited.
