    Hello

what should I consider while registering a domain.

I am talking about renewal of domain.

One of my friends has registered his domain with Saiinfomedia at delhi, and now he is not getting any reply from him so he is not able to renew his domain.

I dont want to face same proble.

Register your domain with a reputable registrar. There are many to choose from; GoDaddy.com, NetSol.com, eNom.com, Moniker.com, Register.com etc. If you don't want to forget to renew your domains, you can simply set them to automatically renew when they expire. Good luck!

I recommend one of two. Moniker or Dynadot. If you are a newbie and you like simplicity...go for Dynadot. Simple admin, simple transfer, all made it simple. If you have a lot of domain to manage...go for Moniker....

I like NameCheap, I've used GoDaddy in the past, but have not liked them very much due to many reasons like their confusing navigations and control panels. I'm in the process of moving all my domains to NameCheap I also found a coupon "MORE4LESS" which saves $0.89 off. :)

GoDaddy is awesome. I have over 75 domains there and have no problems. I actually received a courtesy call from them today asking if everything was good...awesome.

moniker and enom (via etp reseller)
Moniker has tight security. Customer service is good. I can get my rep whenever I need to.
enom, same. I can call and speak to someone without waiting.
Godaddy is ok but I had an issue with them not sending me renewal emails. My liason has worked with me on the transfer of a sold domain via escrow and was helpful.

All in all if you have just a few names any of these three are good. Also namecheap as mentioned is good from my experience.

I agree with SNP, I have a large number of domains with GoDaddy and haven't had a problem yet. I would definitely recommend them. They also have great coupon codes which allow you to reg domains for 6.95.

    Good luck.

haha, buddy your friend is not the onlyone suffering from that company, All the associates which were with that company is facing the same problems,

The company is totally farud , and they just get the money, and dont [pay to real registrars,

Their servers are totally bullshit, and all asociates know them, If you dont belive just go to webhosting.info and search for the websites hosted on their servers, and mail those companies, And they will tell you how much they are suffering due to this

My advice is that going with the cheapest is not the best thing to do. Go with a reputable company that has reasonable prices.
