Domain extension like com,UK,US,In does make any diffrance for Ranking ?

    Hi Guys i want to know Domain extension like com,UK,US,In does make any diffrance for Ranking ? as one of mysite which has poor ranking for co.UK ..

    If you are from the UK, then UK domains tend to have a slight advantage in SERPs than if you searched via the US.

    I did a search for "amazon" from google.com and amazon.com was the first result.

    I did the same seach ("amazon") for google.co.uk and amazon.co.uk was the first result, and amazon.com was the second.


    This was only a quick test so I can't say for definate. But I think domains have more weighting if they are from the region your searching from.
