Deffinatly .COM. Most popular domain extension. You could try a .ME for the fun of it. :)

Use your actual name, instead of myname.com for instance I use ericfrost.com

It helps if your last name is Com and then for instance I would do --

    www.Eric.Com

I don't know if the web site still exists and I don't want to check from work, but my favorite years back was

    f***.it

I think Italian authorities shut it down..

There was just a little animated guy who would yell F*** It!

Maybe you can find him on Archive.org.

I wouldn't use a .org as that's pretty standard for nonprofits. Using .com or .net are the two most popular.

I've got my own, it's a .com. Always the best to go with, whether you're using it for commercial purposes or not.
I knew a guy whose surname was French. He used the Swiss extension, .ch, so the end of his site was ....fren.ch.
    Thought that was quite cool.
Trying to think of surnames ending in "com"... but it's late and I can't be bothered! :)

You are thinking waaayyy too hard. First of all find out what is available.
The simplest answer is usually the best and the shortest distance between 2 points is a straight line.
    Just go with "yourname.com".
You are trying to make something so simple, complicated.
