Hi, I have a question (might be a noob one).
When i look at some domains on major Auctions sites like TDNAM/sedo etc... how come the most bid on domains (and consequently the most expensive) are found to be parked (and 'undeveloped')....What gives them this value (i see that some have "yahoo" or "ebay" contained in the name: but is this enough to warrant such a large expense?) << I am assuming that its likely that those bidding are not end users in the case of niche domain names. Thanks for any help.

Second, could some more experienced ppl please tell of some Domain RESEARCH websites/tools that they use to gain more knowledge about domains. Thanks.

Well if you look closer those domains which are highly bid some maybe a diamond for others. At domain sites they look at how brandable/usable that name would be rather than how established it already is. Domain age is an important factor as well.
