domain dropped

    can anybody help me understand this,

    what does dropped or not drooped mean when buying a domain, and how does it affect the domain, and how do you find out?

    Basically this means a domain that was previously registered that is ready to expire. If it is dropped that means it is available to register, if it has not dropped it is not available to register but you may be able to reserve it for registration once it does drop.
