Hi, Is there any difference between http://abc.com or http://www.abc.com SEO point of view. Thanks & Regards
Yes.... Search engine might count it as different domain. Avoid any confusion it is recommended to use .htaccess file and and divert all the variant (http://abc.com or http://www.abc.com/index.html) to the correct url http://www.abc.com. Thanks Faiz
use only one, if you choose to go for www. then redirect the other to it or no www. just like twitter. only twitter.com
Yes... Google consider both as different domain. You can see more details from Web Master Tools- http://www.google.com/webmastertools. The preferred domain is the one that you would like used to index your site's pages. If you specify your preferred domain as http://www.example.com and Google find a link to your site that is formatted as http://example.com , Google will treat that link as if it was http://www.example.com . In addition, Google will take your preference into account when displaying URLs in Google search results. It may take some time for changes to be reflected in Google index.
Search Engine will consider both Domain name as entirely different. As SEO point of view, you should do a 301 redirection for your site. Either from http://abc.com to http://www.abc.com or vice-versa. Choose only 301 redirection and not 302 redirection. Google won't pass link juice to redirected site if you chosen 302 redirection. So make sure that you made only 301 redirection.
