Domain "deleted and available again" on domaintools.com but can't be registered

    I've tracked a few domains that recently expired (redemption period passed too). They show up as "deleted and available again" on domaintools.com, but i can't register them with any registrar, as they appear taken on all of them.

    How can that be?

    Although redemption period passed, you may still not be able to register these domain names because it will take time to delete them from the database. For .com, the time period is often 5 days,that is,you have to wait another 5 days in order to register them.

    i think the problem is with the site domaintools.com ..if it shows allready rigistered from other rigisterents when u check then its error from domain tools ...same was happend when i used pagerankingcheck.com..its all technical problems

    I thought it might be, but it's now 4 (!) domain with the exact same issue.
