Hello, I just wanted to ask a few people here their opinions on Domain conferences/auctions. Most conferences have a long 4-7 days it looks like with talks and parties and a reg fee of around $700-$1000. My personal opinion would be I would rather just go network with a few people, attend the live auction, listen to a few seminars, and leave with-in a day or two... just curious if others feel the way I do or if they like the long auctions with a lot of seminars. Questions: Have you ever atteneded one? If you did would you rather it be long with a lot of seminars from top domainers and companies or would you prefer it to be a few days and few to no seminars. Would you pay the fees to attend one or would you prefer it to be cheaper? Do you think live auctions and online auctions at the same time do better than just online auctions? Last question, which speakers or new things would you like to see if you came to a live auction/conference? Thanks for your time.
Have you ever atteneded one? no If you did would you rather it be long with a lot of seminars from top domainers and companies or would you prefer it to be a few days and few to no seminars. i'd like some seminars, good conversation starters and a way of justifying attendance. Would you pay the fees to attend one or would you prefer it to be cheaper? haven't paid yet. Do you think live auctions and online auctions at the same time do better than just online auctions? i think live can help get more impulse and add a new dimension of excitement Last question, which speakers or new things would you like to see if you came to a live auction/conference? more on development, less of the same old
I think its worth to attend when you've few premium domain names to put in auction. In case you're interested in attending in live auction, keep yourself updated through domain journals such as dnjournal.
