    Hi,
I used www.heiyaha.com for my site for a long time.
Several weeks ago, I re-built my site, and started to use a new domain: www.iExpat.cn

Three weeks passed, I find that Google have indexed only 13 pages for my new site.

    The question is:

is this all because of the domain changing?

    Thanks.

if you are using 301 redirect from old site to the new one, you must wait some time google to index your new pages

Is the site at your old url still up? If so, you need to do a 301 permanent redirect. This is the best way to inform search engines about the change of your site. Plus, if your old site ranked well, these ranking credentials will be passed onto the new site.

If your new site has not backlinks and is not related to the old site, it will take a while for Google to index it since Google has few ways to know the existence of your new site. If you don't care for the old site and wish to start anew with the new site, build a few backlinks and they will guide spiders to your site.

Are you using .htaccess? You could redirect the old site to the new one by using .htaccess.

If you haven't knowledge of .htacess file then you should give redirection through Cpanel of your website
