Domain Change Advice Please

I currently own Infinity Web Directory with the domain www.infinitywebdirectory.com. I think the "web" makes it too long and I want to change it. Unfortunately, infinitydirectory.com is taken (redirects to a non-existent site, stupid).

My question is, do you think I should switch the name to infinitydir.com? The directory is about a month old, the Alexa is 96k, it hasn't been through a PR update, and I have about 2500 links. I spend a lot of time on this, so everything is important.

    Thanks.

You can always do a 301 redirect with your new domain name, so really, nothing will be lost.
The domain shuffling is a decision i believe you should decisively make and need no opinions on. :)

I think you shouldnt, who cares its a little bit too long... the older your established the better, and trading a month for a few characters less is bad bad bad. My opinion, anyway. :)

As an0n said, if I do a 301 redirect then I keep my PR and everything, so it's not like starting from 0.

But it may not get benefit at this PR update and should wait for another 3 months.
