Hello all, I am trying to come up with a decent name for my online freelance market place. The site works on the concept of buyers posting projects and freelancers bidding on the projects. I need a name that is easy to remember, and some how symbolizes a marketplace and freelancing. I came up with AgoraLance, though that just sounds a bit strange to me. Anyone have any thoughts on this name? Does anyone have a suggestion on a name I could use? The site is near completion in development and useability, and the hardest part of this project has been coming up with a name / design theme. Thoughts?
wow I just looked up like 40 domains and they were all taken from openlancer - findapro and everything in between. discoverlance.com is available but not my favorite. Just a few words you might want to consider - open, hire, pro, lancer, world, find, global, expert, - look at the MSN Encarta thesaurus and just brainstorm.
Thanks for the suggestions guys/gals. I know what you mean black. It seems like everything in this area is taken (which either makes me think this market is completely over saturated, or certain sites are just eating up the related domains. I have tried the domain tools, but the words I am lacking for use. I will try throwing some more things together. Thanks for the suggestions!
If it sounds strange then its a hit. Its called 'Brandable'. I can come up with tons of names but none will mean anything to you. Why?. Because only you know your passion and only you can feel the name. Create something and write it down. Use your imagination and let it run wild then soon you'll come up with a name you'll cherish for a long time. As Bruce Lee once said, "Be water my friend".
