Hey all, I recently bought the following domain: s/k/e/v/o [.com] (Without the slashes) Well, I want your feedbacks on the domain, how you find it, even if it got no real meaning, can u tell me how u find it when u pronounce it and wat can it be used for? Thanks
I would think this domain could be branded into pretty much anything. Usually 5 letter pronounceable names are used to create an easy to remember product or service. I can't imagine that it gets much type in traffic or people searching "skevo", you will automatically obtain good SE rankings for "skevo" by just developing the domain into a website with some unique product or service.
The first thing that comes to my mind when I see the domain is "sketch", the second being "voice". Since this is a pronounceable 5 letter .com domain, it really isn't worth much more than the average until it is associated with a service or product. As for possible use, anything related to a sketch sharing service (image hosting, maybe?), or even voice calling would be understandable. It could also be a general web 2.0 technology blog, but where's the fun in that?
@Leo - I thought of using it for a Tech Blog and now that you are saying, I will think of this again. But then again, I would Like to make something round the words, "Skilfully Evolved" I have been thinking of this for quite some time and I do not have a great idea yet what to build round SkillFully Evolved.
Sounds like a name for a marine salvage company to me. Could be branded. Myself I would probably dump it and get something easier to work with. The domain name does count quite a bit in search engines.
