Where is the best place to get the most responses as far as domain appraisals?

There really isn't much activity here for domain appraisals and I wish there was more.

Or is it better just to get it appraisal for $$?

    Are such a subjective thing.
One buyer would not want to spend more than register cost while another buyer would pay big bucks.
To get an appraisal, I would be very careful as to who I got.
Reason, most so called domain appraisal websites use crappy software that really does not give a true appraisal.
Try ebay and see those sellers who are so damn proud that the domain has been appraised for thousands and thousands, yet they are selliing for just a few bucks.

    Easy way here?
Put it on the domains for sale forum with a high (to you anyway) BIN and see what happens.
If someone buys it for BIN, you will be happy (you did set the BIN).
If nobody wants if for BIN, but do bid a good price, that should give you an indication of it's worth.

Thanks iowadawg, that is all so true. All Economics, I guess I just have to find the right niche place to sell it or get a broker.

I have had about 6 domains on sedo.com for sale since last year.
They aint never going to sell there it looks like.
Guess one day, I should just remove them from there and give them away cheaply here.
Or just let them die out (just let 3 domains die out) by not renewing them.

Remember, don't ever buy domains that are nice to you only.
    Like my dawg sites!

You can get a "professional" domain appraisal from Sedo and GoDaddy if you do not like this forum!

The so called "professional" appraisals will just give you a very high value for your domain & hence keep you happy. Unless you find an absolute end-user, who is capable of paying & needs it most you can't ever sell the name for that price.

I actually just found DNForum this week. I have posted some domains with them and have gotten some response.

Usually a fair to good domain name will get some response fairly quickly. I've noticed that if you see a thread with a number of views and few replies, they usually weren't very good or low value names.
