I would like to buy two domains, but I've no idea what these domains are worth. Can anyone give an appraisal, please? Cheers! Here are the domain details:

    Domain 1
    • Registered 3 years ago and has been active ever since, though explicitly listed as for sale without a price. Domain expires next Summer.
    • Google PageRank of 4 (used to be 5), Alexa Rank of 2,7m.
    • One listing in DMOZ, several in del.icio.us, none in other such sites.
    • Backlinks: 15 from Google, 2500 (Yahoo), 0 (MSN), 1000 (Altavista).
    • Some 1500 pages are indexed in Google.
    • Domain name can be easily remembered, but does not contain keywords.
    • Website is currently active and fairly well developed, though certainly needs improvement.
    • I intend to develop and promote the website.

    Domain 2
    • Recently snatched in a drop and currently not explicitly listed as for sale, though I am certain it is. Domain expires next Autumn.
    • Google PageRank unknown, but not high (2-4).
    • No listing in DMOZ, del.icio.us or other such sites.
    • No backlinks.
    • Some 10 pages are indexed in Google.
    • Domain name can be easily remembered and contains appropriate keywords.
    • Domain is currently parked.
    • I intend to develop and promote the website.

In the end of the day, it'd really depend on the actual domain name. If it's sex.com, it's worth millions, if it's zfdsadfqs.cx, that's a different story

Both domains are .com. Domain 1 is a website with tourist information about a European country (like "ukinfo.com") and domain 2 can best be used for tourist accommodation in a major European city (like "guesthouseparis.com"). The downside of domain 1 is that the tourist aspect is not clear at all from the domain name. The title, description and keywords of domain 1 are rubbish, though the content of the website is quite good.
