There are a LOT of these appraisal scams. :(

Typically, they contact you by email with an interest to buy your domain name only IF you get a 'professional' appraisal.
Of course, out of the 3 they offer, their own appraisal company is the cheapest and an offer on your domain is never going to come. B@stards.

Inherently valuable domains like a 3-letter.com have an obvious and recognized value and any decent domainer could value it pretty accurately to a reseller.

Other domains like premium .coms are harder but still a decent raeng be offered, for free, from any domain forum (this one, Dnforum, NamePros, etc)

All other domains are very hard to value. Opinions will vary greatly and the ONLY real way to know the value of a domain is that moment when somebody makes an offer on it! THAT is the value. Everything else is an opinion at worst and a good guess at best.

Only too true. And the price of €60 is way too much for an appraisal. Better luck next time.

Did you get the usual scam email offering to buy your name, but first asking you to get an appraisal?

With 540 plus posts I thought you'd know better.

Lucky you only paid 60 Euro, I lost 5k once to a scam when I was a newbie many years ago.

    Thanks for guidance.

Only thing is i am thinking professionally - I sold lot many domain and with very good price and lots of domain that i own have good price, and as per my knowledge i did appraisal for domain which was worth doing it only problem is it is scam and its under promotion so that wasnt right value at all.

Any way thats my first and may be last experience.
