The last time I checked; libidinizing.com (not sure of spelling) was available, expired and as it meens 'makes you feel sexy', I think it makes your point debatable, i.e 'abacinate.com' would become a valuable domain if there was an episode of Islamic Shariah punishment which led to a revolution or series of revolutions, for example. IMers try to sell stuff that will 'find you the upcoming trends in keywords' etc. don't ya think?
I agree with most of your points. Very good guide for all domain buyers. in addition to it, 1)better avoid domains with numbers in it unless it is related to domain. Number1.com is good where as webhost8.com is not that good. 2)Avoid lengthy domains names like howtogetsliminsixweeks.com, even though it has good keywords, it is tough to read without spaces and google doesnt give priority to lengthy ones. 3)Dont chase short domains with no meaning in it. something like 6yt4.com
Thanks for this awesome post but can you tell me more about the 3rd point (OVT)? The keyword used in domain name should be in low competitive or high? which one sells better?
I have always bought COM domains so far. They are a safe investment while a .mobi extension is usually worthless.
