I've been holding onto this domain since 1999, and now I'm just looking to sell.

    +pluses+
    -LLLL
    -mswd.com, mswd.org, mswd.info, mswd.co.uk, mswdmanagement.com, mswd-wv.com all are registered - seems to be a popular abbr.
-Morgan stanely (dean witter) contacted me back in '01, looking to buy it as a typo domain (they go by msdw,) but my mom told them i was at school and they never called back (I know, I wouldn't negotiate with a high-schooler either.)
-wd = web design (this was going to be midnight sun web design), web directory, water development, waste disposal, walt disney
-mswd = microsoft word abbreviation, Mean Square of Weighted Deviates (geology term), Municipal Social Welfare and Development (gov't office in the Phillippines), Microsoft (or mississippi) web development,

    +minuses+
    -.net
    -very easy to typo
    -no vowels
-never fully developed, only used as a personal place to host my own files. leapfish seems to think it's worth something, but probably because of its age

Any ideas? Or should I just hold onto it for my personal work, since i've got the key sequence down and it's easy for me to have a short url for personal projects. Thanks in advance!

Without knowing the type of traffic it gets, it would be hard to suggest value. Its a .net instead of .com, but its 4 letters that are very brandable.

Call Morgan Stanley back! You're older now and well, at least let them suggest a value if they are still interested.

It's just a temporary page I've had up for a couple of years right now. Most of my traffic is personal (friend and family visiting links) or files (images, etc) embedded on other pages (I ran a customizable counter service back in the day and still get lots of hits from old tripod pages people had, haha.) But really, nothing any business person would be interested in.

And I have no idea who at Morgan Stanley I would call.
