How good are we at valuing domains? I have an opportunity to test that this week. I will be selling the domain table.com at Moniker's T.R.A.F.F.I.C. East live auction on October 12, 2007, as chronicled in my blog Domaining For Amateurs: The True Story of Selling a Domain Name (http://www.roundtablegroup.com/domainingforamateurs/). I hereby announce an appraisal contest to show off your superior domain valuation skills, by telling me how much table.com will sell for (including all commissions and fees) on Friday. In addition to the pride of being crowned the day's supreme domain appraiser (I will email the winner to let him or her know, and profile the champion if they so desire on my blog), I will post the most interesting entries and a statistical analysis of the entries next week, so you will be contributing to the greater understanding of science. More details on the blog at http://www.roundtablegroup.com/domainingforamateurs/2007/10/domain-valuation-contest.html Thanks for playing!
