The keyphrase "1929 Stock Market Crash" gets 3600 exact google searches globally per month and has a high cpc of $4.88 per click. Any thoughts on what it would be worth?

I think that CPC figure is probably accidental -- in other words, caused by some of the advertising for "stock" that bleeds over into phrases that contain it. When I search for "1929 stock market crash", I don't see any ads paying anything.

The domain is a bit long. And the only people I can imagine starting a website about an historical event are authors of books. But they would probably look for a catchy title to their book. Even if their book were entirely about the 1929 stock market crash, they'd probably name their website something else. And authors and book publishers don't have deep pockets for buying domains.

You can also create a site discussing the event and promote books related to that event and not including adsense ads.
