domain and ip question

    Here's my SEO question:

Say I want to develop multiple sites, then the idea is to put each domain on it's own Class C IP.

But, isn't it true that Google owns a domain registrar and can just check ownership of domains?

So, in addition to having separate IP's, would you also need separate contact info on the domains? And, if so, how to go about doing this?

Maybe I am missing the obvious :)

I think you would be better off making one large website with subdomains. When you make multiple related websites, Google has ways of telling which websites are owned by the same person. They usually don't take too kindly to multiple similar websites owned by the same person. They can check the obvious such as domain registration and ip. They can also check the less obvious stuff such as similar backlinks.

You could use a registrar anymizing tool, or register each under a different name. Truth be told unless they hand scheck they probably wont notice.

this is true...I'm probably better off going the main site/subdomain route and worry about creating my own backlinks with anon domains at a latter date ;-)

    thanks for the replies!

ya that will be better to create one main website with services/product category related sub domains....so that you can promote both main site as well as sub domains separately.
