Domain Age

Last year i owned a domain and let it drop its now free and i plan to buy it again soon.
Here is the question will this domain be classed as 1 year old or brand new?
As i seen in other posts google like older domains in SERPS etc.

If it was dropped it will count as new - some of your old incoming links may count for seo.
Use a whois tool to check the age, eg:
http://whois.domaintools.com/

It will count as dropped domain and it will affect your SERP and PR.
Just wonder why don't you renew the domain before its expired?

 

Well for the first 6 month I had a site running on it but i was not totally commited both finiancialy and mentaly so i closed down the site.

I let it drop because i thought i would never be able to commit myself to such a site but recently found out that i now can be i would love to go ahead with this project as it was a plan i realy enjoyed creating etc.

just check prs , backlinks if u going to register that again

 

It will be counted as new domain. Coz it is dropped.
