    Dear Omas

In my opinion Domain Age matters most only if you have content on it, and search engines can corelate that domain name into their archive, as Most relaiable websites (www.partyrama.co.uk) tend to remain live for more than a very now and then website.

It doesnt matter if you have a new website, as long as you have relavant content and good link back from good sources, your website will rank good.

Were those targeted keywords competitive? That makes a big difference. I scored #1 for my first and last name from the beginning. But the problem is, no one searches for my first and last name.

I'm with Jim on this. I think there is a very good possibility that the keywords you ranked for are not competitive and/or return very little traffic. Normally it takes a good year of hard work to rank for highly competitive short tailed keywords.

Here's a free keyword research tool that you can try. Just plug in your main keyword and click on gather keywords. It will list the top 100 keywords associated with your main one and provide daily search estimates. For competition analysis, click on gather results. This will return the number of pages indexed in Google. A useful free tool.

using non competitive keyword terms to brag your site is # 1 is like saying you beat special olympics kids in a race and your a world class sprinter

Now moving on to real world SEO, domain age will matter for highly competitive keyword terms when all else is equal. If two sites were exactly the same in all other considerations.

There is also a score for site age, as you noted Google is not indexing the site. So your page won't have any age or trustworthiness to the search engines.

Domain age and site age have more to do with how quickly you earn trust and with an older domain you'll have a slight competitive advantage... but without content that kind of loses the benefit.

    Hope that helps
