Domain age a factor in ALLOWance?

Until November 2009, I was able to submit most of my sites to GMC without problem... most with over 20,000 products.

But lately it seems that all product feeds for new domains are automatically DISALLOWED, without reason. Nothing will overcome it.

My 4-year-old site's 8000-product feed is allowed every month.

    Anyone else noticing this?

Domain age isn't a factor into submitting products. I worked for a company who opened a new retail store in Q1 2010 and listing products for this store was hassle free.

As of May 18thish, Google requires merchants on Google Shopping to verify their URLs when listing products. Is that something that may be causing your listings to be disallowed? What are the sites you're trying to list?

    battery-bargains com has not.

Your sites are getting denied because they're affiliate storefronts. That ain't allowed on Google Product Search, my friend. You probably already know this I bet :p

Every now and then an affiliate storefront my squeeze by the eyes of Google and get listed. Two years ago, you could post affiliate stores like these and have no problem keeping them live for months at a time. But Google is putting effort and manpower into Google Product Search these days, which means no more crappy affiliate storefront knockoff sites.

What's your 4 year old site's domain? Is it an affiliate storefront as well?

That doesn't explain immediate disallow of a brand new site. No time for human review.

It didn't take me that long to figure out your stores weren't legit. I am sure Google has something in place to quickly review stores like yours and deny them. I think you're SOL, sorry!

They're not all disallowed. Just the ones I shared with you.

The allowed sites are virtually identical to the disallowed ones. 1 has a 4 yr old domain and 1 a 1 yr old domain.

One of my 8000-product feeds was suddenly disallowed in mid-August. So was the feed from one of my colleagues.

I used the Request For Reconsideration form, and was back in action 5 days later (much to my surprise).

USE THE REQUEST FOR RECONSIDERATION FORM. Google will actually reply!
