I would like to transfer an old but now valuable domain of mine from one.com to namecheap (that i registered back when i didn't know what i was doing yet). Problem is, one.com has changed the admin-c address (whois owner's e-mail) to their e-mail address and are refusing to change it to mine. That way it's impossible to accept the domain transfer right? what can i do about this? Am I screwed?

    is the domain expired?

If you can't login to your one.com account and update the whois info, then you'll have to contact their support team.

some registrars change whois when domain expired making to avoid tranfer out with their sky renewal fee.

best is to renew in one,com and tansfer out quickly.
