I am using a shared plan for web hosting.
Few days back I have purchased one more domain and by mistake I add in to parked domain in cpanel.

But I really want to add a domain.
But now unfortunately when I try to add the domain its showing error.

    How to rectify it ???
Someone said that we have to edit .httaccess file.
    But where is it ??

There are a few solutions in your problem.

Use the easiest. Remove that domain from your Parked domains list. Wait for some time and then add it.

You can not have the same domain as parked and as addon domain at the same time.

Did you change your nameservers for that domain to point to your server?

I change the nameserver and after that I add it to my hosting.
But I can't see the domain I added in the parked domain menu.

First decide if you want that domain as "parked" or "addon" domain.
Re-check if you have used correct nameservers and try removing it and adding it later if possible from the appropriate section on the CP.

Sometimes zonefiles may get corrupted and they may exist incorrectly binded to the server even if it doesn't show on your CP.

Ask your host to remove any zone files related to that new domain if it exists at all on the server...then retry.

huh? but it doesn't load for me. is it due to DNS updating? i haven't change any name server which my web host told me to. and i can't even load my cpanel (not to say login). FTP doesn't connects too, is this all caused by DNS? i doubt so. and i dun really want to contact the support team. it took them 8 hours to give me a rather rude reply, wif unclear instructions in just 2 sentence.

i did some googling, and it seems i have to login to my domain name registar to change my NS. if thats true, how do i find out this registar?

ok, finally got the instructions from my web host. i login and change the nameservers, but my site is not loading. understand its the update time DNS needs, but does that mean my site wun load? the name servers are invalid (the old setting)
i can still access my site through IP rite? how do i check my domain name IP. its shared.
