    I've already posted this question in the affiliate programs section 2 days ago but didn't get replies, so here it is.
    I have a domain and Iam redirecting it to an affiliate program. GoDaddy asks for 301 permanent or 302 temporary redirection. What should I do and why ? Can you explain the difference ?

    Thank you.

    Theoretically, for a redirect from A to B :
    302 = temporary redirect (prefered address: A)
    301 = permanent redirect (prefered address: B)

    You will probably prefer to use the 302 redirect, but this will have little influence.

    Google recommends that you make affiliate links uncrawlable (with "rel=nofollow" or with robots.txt).
