what do you mean? google issues cheques in local currencies in 42 countries. so if u are not from US and in one of those 42 countries, you are better off with local ccy than USD
EURO being a *bum* currency is a bit of a stretch. It is actually much stronger than Dollar. You might not notice the fact that it is used by a union of over 500 million people (USA's population is only 300 million), but you need to leave the back country and travel a bit to see that The real issue here is that Ads are paid for USD and then converted into any other currency by Google as a convenience offer. So for people outside the US it does not really matter what currency you get the payment in - you will still have to convert it into your country's currency before you use it. What entity does the conversion (Google or your local bank) - is your choice.
I think dollar is widely used because google is dollars too , but google also paid in 42 countries local currencies, so the choice is yours...
i agree with you 1000%..USD is no more the CCY to look out for and loosing it charm day by day. rather than converting your money every time, why not just get a local currency cheque..unless your bank is ready to convert it free (i doubt they wont). they will charge u 1)carry agent charge 2) conversion rate commission if you want to pay all that...go ahead and loose some $$$ on your earning.. local currency cheque is always the smart bet if u dont live in USa of course lol
Having seen the value of my wage go down by 15% against the Euro since moving to the US from Germany I wish that this was only a joke
LOL I dont have any words to be honest... You need to come out of the well and learn about the world around you American dollar is loosing its value and being a post graduate in macro economics I know what its all about but it will take another life for you to understand it so I will refrain from explaining it here. Most countries are trying to shift thier trade from dollars to Euros and its a good move in my opinion.
If I lived in US or Canada with what I am earning currently, I would considered very very rich. But too but I live in Italy .
You're joking right? The dollar is the universal standard. Everyone uses it almost. In order to safeguard yourself against currency fluctuations it's advisable to do business in USD but keep your holdings / savings in EURO.
