I know the US Dollar is worth like 40 Ruppee

What im trying to figure out is how much more the 40 Ruppee will get than the 1 Dollar for buying something.

    Just curious

    any input is appreciated!

I'm not sure if I understand what you're asking... How much more it will get? What do you mean?

When someone from England gives you one pound, what do you get? Around $2 I guess? That's because, Pound is a stronger currency than the dollar. So, technically, with one pound in your hand, you can buy whatever you can buy for $2 in your country.

Similarly, when you give $1 to someone in India, it means 40 Indian Rupees for them, because dollar is a MUCH stronger currency than the rupee. So, when you give me $1, I could buy whatever I can buy for 40 Indian rupees. You know what I'm saying?
