Doing this SEO thing right?

    Hi,

    I have a new site, http://www.how-to-travel-the-world.com and I'm wondering if I am doing the SEO right.

    1. I'm submitting to directories.
    2. Writing PR releases
    3. Article Submission
    4. Link Requests
    5. Social Bookmarking and promotion
    6. Link exchanges using a another travel site I have with a pr4.

    Is there more I should be doing? Or is this it and I have to do a lot of it?

    I think you're on the right track. Try to get backlinks from blogs with PR value too.

    Also, you might want to do keyword research and plug those keywords into your blog.

    your on the right track but your title tag can be up to 80 characters long this is probably the most important on page attribute research your key words and put those words in your title.

    It looks like your taking a diversified approach with off site promotion which is good. Just add some blog links to the mix and don't forget on site optimization.

    Looks like you are on the right track. I would just add that you should submit your site to some niche directories. There are quite a few 'travel directories' which you can submit to.

    I suggest you add up blog about the website and participate (as much as possible) to forums related to your niche.
