Doing something interesting with a directory?

Digg is kind of a waste of time. I get a ton of traffic from Furl.net - be sure to include a button for them - I will certainly Furl your articles.

 

Why is it a waste of time? I will add Furl and del.lic.us soon.

Perhaps I spoke too soon, but are your articles honestly Digg worthy? Let us know how much traffic you get from Digg - I would love to hear.

 

Some of my articles are not digg-worthy, but I give people the option of deciding that for themselves. But the PR Update Tool I do consider to be digg-worthy. Any diggs I receive I see as a compliment.

You are correct - that could be worthy! I don't use phpLD, so I can't determine how good it is - but that is Digg worthy.

 

IndexUDirectory.com and DirectoryContest.com have been added to my To-Do list for when I am looking for content.

IndexUDirectory.com is my first and personal directory. I want it to be useful for directory owners and webmaster. Just released last week, and I'm still do some development in there.

Does Best Directories beautiful design count as unique .

I think the design of a directory plays a big role in the percieved value it gives to link submitters.

The directory is not mine, but I really like this one.
It is dedicated for campsites, it has very detailed info about campsites and also it's google map integration with the listing type is awesome

 

It is a well designed directory, and its already listed on DirectorySpy on the Directory Lists page. However, its not a directory that screams out at me for being different. I'll add it to my list if I run out of things to blog about.
