Doing more than blog in blogger

Hi guys, i need some help
i have a blogger account..
i havent explored blogger. i know it cant be used like a normal website for content managemment.. all i know is u can write articles and upload images
can anyone tell what else i can do as far as content is concerned? for eg can i add poll?, and any more feature which u see in a normal websites?

Poll is not a good choice.

You can use You Tube Videos, mainly the best choice

 

Highly recommend that you host your Blogger blog on your own domain name. That way, you'll have a lot more power, and you won't have to worry about having your blog deleted "accidentally."

thats right, if you need more freedom then you should host your blogs on ur own domain names, of course many cool things can be done on blogspot too but it need lot of time and searching if you don't know programming. if you are new you can check my blog for some blogspot tips (its not the best but will give u some idea)
