I've realized that my competitors really have no good backlinks at all. How they are outranking me I am not sure. Perhaps it is their sites age.

I'd like to find some Health Related Directories to submit to. I have no reservatinos about throwing a few bucks or two to be included in high PR health sites. Can someone help me find some good links?

I've found a few, but they want reciprocal links. Are reciprocal links something I should certainly do ?

    Thanks Guys..

What's your site and what are the terms you're trying to rank for?

Sorry Beeker I'd love to share but I dont want to share my niche on this site.

    But its medical related.

I rank #2 for most of my main terms but I'd like to boost it up. If someone could find me some killer medical sites that I can easily get accepted to with a.) a recip link or b.) a payment, please send me them!

Do submission for free. But if you want to do reciprocal with dir sites, you can dedicate a page for that (If you're not going to place them at your resource page).

The number of backlinks doesn't guarantee higher rank.

I would focus on obtaining quality links over quantity.

Getting backlinks from bad sites would probably hurt your rank every more.
