Doing Facebook webinars - show local businesses how to use Facebook

I still work full time, so i have limited time to prospect local businesses. I thought about just cold calling, talking about Facebook, but I am also thinking about using an email scraper or somehow getting a bunch of email addresses of business owners, and inviting them to a free Facebook webinar, something like "The A-B-C's of Facebook - how your business can profit from Facebook" or something like that.

The webinar would be a lot of free content about claiming your fanpage, stats, engaging vs selling, etc. My offer would be to create a custom fanpage with graphic and an app or two to help the fanpage go viral, which of course, would already be explained about how you can use this. I could charge somewhere around $199 or so to do this, and have a package where I can do a monthly consulting service for $299 a month or something, and work with training the staff and monitoring the activity of the fanpage.

Of course, the webinar would be free, and, like I said, I could send out a bunch of emails and even do some cold calling and hand out flyers.

Is this a decent idea that could generate some revenue for me? Would business owners find value in something like this?
