DOH - Forgot to renew a domain at NameCheap in time

One of my domains expired on Oct 26th, like a dummy I didn't renew it in time.

Now it resolves to some ad page. Since it has only been a week or so, isn't there a grace period where I can renew it? Another registrar I use have about a 30 day grace period where you can still renew the domain after it has expired.

I've already contacted NameCheap, but there support is not always quick to respond.

Does anybody have experience with NameCheap and know if I have a chance to get the domain back?

What in blazes are you waiting for!? Renew it! :D

Namecheap currently resells for Enom, so you might have least 15-20 days. I
can't recall their exact "grace period".

Be ready to bite the bullet if the name means that much to you.

    whoa. thats an unfortunate case.

let this be a lesson learnt. Auto renew your domains with a credit card next time.

There's a Reactivate Domains button inside your account. See if that helps.

Bingo, thanks Dave, got it back with Reactivate Domains. Green for you :D

It confused me when I could not see it in my list of domains. Still haven't heard back from NameCheap support

I thought that they will warn you if you have domain names which are up for renewal. I left some funds in the account to ensure that renewals are smooth :)
