So I was changing the permissions on a few files on my site, and I accidentally typed 77 instead of 777 and now I can't change the permissions of those folders. What can I do to get them back?

    Thanks in advance!

Contact your host. Or try using ftp to change them.

Try using the 'File Manager' in cPanel - I've found that it often works to change permissions when it wasn't possible with FTP. Of course that's assuming you have cPanel, most hosting has something similar.

If that doesn't work, perhaps the quickest solution is to call your hosting company.

There may also be other methods that I don't know of, but using the File Manager in cPanel has always worked for me...
