    @FOX LORE

    Glad you posted - those cute - Did Duchess actually jump up on the crate? That is an agile Bulldog if so!

    @Nintendo

    Very sorry to hear about your loss.

    As I posted at the start of the thread my dog died 9/2005. It will be a while before I bring another (rescue) into my life.

    Bring on the other dogs that we've not seen yet!

    Yep, it's hard to get another dog for a while after you lose one.
    [IMG]

    This *was* my brothers dog. She got cancer and was put to sleep last summer. Neither one of us plan on geting more dogs any time soon.

    Little tip: If you ever need to put a pet to sleep, let a pro do it. When my brothers dog got cancer, once it got bad, he tried to put her to sleep himself, with drugs, like morphine. Instead he got tortured himself, from the dog weeping, wailing, and gnashing her teeth from pain.

    He finally took her to the vet, and with in seconds, she was gone, and free from pain.

    That is so sad....

    My image host is being stupid, so can't post a pic yet but we have a female Jack Russell called Trax who is about 300 years old and the apple of my fiance's eye. She keeps trying to kill me though...:(

    @Diether - thanks for adding your, what, foxhound? beagle?

    @jekka - you can try to attach jpgs and such directly to your post if you can't manage the embed.

    You can also upload them to my dog picture gallery (free) in the "Parson Russell Terrier" album (the AKC changed Jack Russell to that recently - Parson Russell is/was Parson John Russell) and then embed them here - I unlocked my own hotlink protection for these forums.

    That invite is open to anyone here (but the embed won't work on non digipoint forum domains).

    Nintendo,

    She looks like a lovely old girl. My neighbour brought the drugs home from the vets and did the deed himself when his old lab's time was up. It went smoothly though he was a wreck for months afterwards.

    If you have anymore pictures of her I'd like to see them.
