when I was single and young, we had to be cautious to walk with our date outside but nowadays didn't hear problem for youth.
my daughter ever week meet her boyfriend in the street and dating for parents isn't problem as it was 20 years ago. internet help youth to find their match so easy I think.

 

I afraid of tell you, haven't good opinion about animal inside the house for healthy reasons, beside my wife and me work outside so haven't much time for a pet.
more over, a dog gradually get our emotion and become member of family I think. I guess it will raise our responsibility and we can't go travel easily.
my wife still remember the time when lost her dog.
