    Hello all

Dogpile has changed a lot since the first time I used it (I guess for the better), now it's becoming more and more like google. It used to be pretty unique and would have a listing of popular searches related to your search.

So what do you think of dogpile.com? It would be better if you reviewed it byitself, and then reviewed it comparing with others?

I didn’t like it when I first heard about it and I still don’t like it. I don’t think it’s very useful so simply never bothered to think about it much. If I want to use yahoo or MSN I’ll go to their site and search from there and since that rarely happens using dogpile doesn’t make much sense to me.

I don't know if dogpile still does this but they use to embed ads in the results:

    1-2-3 Metasearch results
    4-5 Sponsored results

    etc.

When I noticed, I never went back. As far as metasearch goes, there are engines that offer more.

It's not too bad, at least got some results if searching my domain name there. But funny thing is that it is not a search engine itself, which embeds google, yahoo, etc, but get less results than any of the search engines.
