Hey guys, Just looking for any feedback/advice you can give me on my dog training site, www.listendog.com. Please tell me all the suggestions you have Thanks!
It's got a nice, clean look. The menu bar looks way too spare as there is only 'Home' and 'About,' but on the bright side the graphical layout for the entries is cool. However, the entries are too short - not enough content, and the I think one should be able to get to the entry by clicking the PICTURE as well as the 'Read more' link. Finally, that itty-bitty icon next to 'Read more?' It's be cool if you could make that an itty-bitty paw print. Okay, one more thing: the content, according to so many sources on the web, should be more personable. Oh, and the 'About' page seems too (please don't hurt me - I bleed) amateurish. LOOKS great, READS not so good, good luck.
The site has a very friendly feeling to it which I like! Good job! Did you also do the backend yourself?
In firefox, you can see the dogsdogsdogsdogsdogs through the logo. I don't think you want that. Put your favorite category and popular guide on the Home About bar. Otherwise, really nice. I would buy something from that site. The name is great

very nice looking site. I'd almost put more at the top menu.. maybe article categories or something.? My eyes focus on that menu to figure out the purpose of your site but there isn't anything there. I'm very very impressed with the design and layout of everything. Awesome site.
Bravo, The site looks very clean and professional i recommend making the articles a but longer but not long enough to the point were its just pointless to continue reading on

I think it's great. Very professional. There's a couple of things I'd suggest. One is to remove the boxes from around the pictures of the dogs. If you made the edges soft around these pictures, I think that would give your consumers a warm & fuzzy feeling. The second suggestion is to try to make the logo match the page. The cartoon logo is excellent, but it feels sort of out of place when you've got the pictures of real dogs.
The overall layout and design is good, the site is nice and clean and easy to navigate and it's very user friendly.
