Rocky Mountain Collie & Sheltie Rescue

I am working with a local Dog Rescue group.
They need a new logo to use on tee shirts, website, facebook and other places for their group.
Their current logo is really boring, not great on shirts or other items and does not really touch people when they see it.

I need a logo with the name of the rescue-
Rocky Mountain Collie & Sheltie Rescue
I want to have mountains in the logo for the Rocky Mountain part of the name.

I will be submitting entries to the Rescue Board of Directors each day for the next few days and then the winner will be decided at their board meeting on Sunday the 12th.
Winner will be notified and paid immediately upon acceptance of design.

Final design needs to be flat design, with fully layered psd.

I am including a few logos that we have seen and liked. Please feel free to use your creativity.

I am thinking this is a bit busier than they would like but you have shown great creativity. Thanks so much for posting!
Perhaps you can simplify it a bit by taking out some of the extra lines.
Also the dog is not quite the right dog yet.

Great and fun design. Love the simplicity.
The dog is not quite right... had to giggle a bit as it looked a little like a sea horse or a regular horse... I mean no offense, truly, love your work.
I will copy a link to their website and some pictures of collies and sheltie dogs so you can see what they would need to look like to work for the logo.

Hello Sir , hope you're Okay ! it's too late here 1.30 morning . well here's my example for your logo's company .. the logo shows a mountains behind a dog's head , and the logo is simple to print in all kind of things , the only thing I haven't known is the color because you didn't mentioned it !

I like the simplicity of your design.
I would love for the mountains to look a bit more like the couple of examples I put on the main page with the autism or colorado kids logos examples I have there.
Also, the dog does not look like a collie or sheltie dog. If you could please google collie or sheltie or you can see some live dogs at http://www.colliesheltierescue.org/available-for-adoption-2/ or you can look for a collie or sheltie silouette on google.
There is a typo in the name- it is Collie (no Z)

Irah: I really like this and we would love to see it with a Collie and Sheltie shadow/silhouette for the dogs.

 

Revisions are getting closer... the dog you have in their now is a border collie, which is a cousin to a regular collie and sheltie. The sheltie and collies are a bit different in color and thinner noses.
Love your designs... can't wait to hear back from the board on it... and I know they will want an actual collie like Lassie or Sheltie dog.

Not the right kind of dog. think Lassie the famous tv dog from a long time ago. That is the dog we need.
Also, having Sheltie be so much bigger than Collie will not work for us.
Love the simplicity and lines... not sure how to work it so that both dog types are similar... a bit bigger on one is ok, just not soooo much bigger.

The straight font is my preferred one, but both are great.
I love the new dog, just not the right one and am so missing the sea horse.... just kidding. Great work.
Just had to tease a bit on the sea horse and forgot to mention the font.
Thanks for showing both styles. I may like one and the board may like the other.

I forgot to mention, when you do your revision with the new dog, would you make the blue a solid blue and not a gradient or shaded area pretty please> and thank you!!
