I would let the dog go. Because cats require less care and attention than a dog. They clean themselves too.

Spot on! Cats don't respond to "happy loud fun" to know if you're OK. They have that weird cat sense that tells them when you really need them to hang out with you.

Same here... Webby... Infact you would not believe, my cats even knows my car or bike noise, If I come and I'm parking my car/bike he starts doing Meow meow loudly from inside the house only.

Once I lot locked outside the house n the key were left in ad the bell was closed, my cat came to window saw me outside, it probably came to know I cannot get into the house and it started screaming meow meow very loudly finally my dad woke up hearing its noise n opened the door for me.

When I am back from college/ dad office in afternoon, even though in its sleep my cats opens its both eye a bit does meow, somewhat like greeting me n goes back to sleep again.

Now cats aren't bad at all... it can lov you to its max, infact it can love you more than the lov you give it.

I would allow the cat to go and keep the dog back. The dog is a loving and intelligent animal compared to the dog.

I will go together with the cat.
Then let the dog live alone and it will see how easy that is, dog sucker.
