there was a little pain on my skin for few hours. but there was no wound at all plus my jeans was also not torn. but there was a very small dot of redish color on my skin.....

If your skin wasnt ruptured then its ok. thats a good sign but you must visit to your doc. Get yourself checked and if possible then go for rabies vaccine. One you get vaccinated the there is no need ever in life to get vaccinated by rabies. Its means you will get clean chit and you can freely offer yourself to dogs to bite you... :D Just kidding. But whatever I told about vaccine is tru. I have the experience and also, I have studied in medical books!! :)

If you have no blood on you don't mind going to the doctor.

Meet a doctor as soon as possible and ask him for advice.Don't take this matter lightly because i know someone who was in such a case and he didn't go for any treatment and now his left leg is fully paralyzed.

It's unlikely you'll have rabies - trust me on that.
However, it's true that dogs mouths are a breeding ground for all sorts of nasty bacteria so it's safest to get checked out.

How would you know? There is a great chance that he is safe, but not 'perfectly safe'.

From past experience, I know of someone that was bit, leaving no blood, but a mark, and this person thought nothing of it, couple days later the spot got very large, he went to the doctor and found it was an infection.

So, in all seriousness, it probably won't be deadly or that serious, but you should check it out even, as there certainly can be bacteria like CountryBoy said.

Get a rabies vaccination. I have seen documentaries with people sick of rabies and it ain't a pretty sight.
