A few weeks ago I posted a thread of how to find Dofollow wiki's. I was then given responses from DP members saying that google does not crawl inner wiki pages. Well the results are in. I type in my site name in Google and of the wiki entries come in second place right under my site name. So if you can find Dofollow wiki's add a link!.
That is good news for us.It will encourage people to be more informative submitting fact and news at Wiki.I will spread this news in my blog.
if it really is a working one, then wiki will be spammed big time by spammers. Lets see hows i goes, will try it out for sure.
The point of wiki's (generally) is to create better information about a certain topic. You're just encouraging people to spam. If your site is un-related and you didn't add anything useful, don't drop your link; you're just as bad as the thousands of comment spammers around. Besides which, by the time everyone is done, all of the dofollow wiki links will be useless (diluted completely with so many pointless OBL).
Yeah, people say a lot of stuff. But as you've found out, testing will tell what what actually works and what doesn't. I hear a lot about what "Google likes" and what "Google doesn't like", but no one on the 'outside' actually knows Google's algorithm and whatever information they are giving you is an educated guess, at best.
Thanks indyguidedotinfo, let's hope people can put your information to good use. As mentioned in this topic, if you do find a good wiki, please post links that are relevant and helpful for the visitor -- that's what the web is about, information and good info at that.
Well... Actually, that could be proven by a simple 'site:' search... Nonetheless, as I've already stated, don't go around diluting the information with garbage links... You're only going to annoy the owners/moderators/whoever's-in-charge. Then we'll have... wiki-akismet.
