You can make your blog dofollow and approve comments selectively if you're worried about PR value decrease.

Well I am thinking little different. How many of you heard about PR Sculpting. It says that whether if you dofollow or nofollow any link some weightage of link is exhaust and hence if you have 50 links on single page then your PR will distribute on all the links and if you are using nofollow attribute then the amount of PR on nofollow is exhaust hence no gain to other pages. What I am trying to saying is, if you don't want to distribute your page rank to other sites the best things is to stop comments on your post to a limit so that no one can use it for their sole purpose or say to spam your website.
actually I want to increase traffic for site... its for gen public.. having good traffic around 1000-2500 per day but giving dofollow can increase traffic and comments too. currently people are not commenting.. they just watch stuff and get out
dear member u are in wrong impression pr will only decrease if your site is penalize by G or you are going to change all the path of your page name or change domain name ... there is no logic in your answer please rectify your self .. look at this post in Sitepoint

Depending n what your site is about this shouldn't really matter. If the site is in the IM niche than yea, but still.. Do you want people commenting on your site just to get a dofollow link? The average visitor doesn't know the difference between a dofollow and nofollow link, hell they don't even know what a link is.. If I were you I'd leave them nofollow. It's a lose lose situation going dofollw.
