many seo in digitalpoint forum have given dofollow blogs including .edu blogs also. i have tried them for commenting. but once we commnet on that blogs, commnet do not appear in the list of comment on that blogs as those blogs require moderator approval. but if our comment are approve how come we will know that our comment is appearing on that blog. does email regarding that comment we get or any other way. Any body has list of dofollow blog which accept the comment and display it immediately.
this is the reason why I stopped commenting on blogs. I don't waste my time w/ it anymore. I use web 2.0 props such as hubpages and EZA.
You won't find many which haven't already been spammed to death, I just posted a topic regrading something similar and it's similar to what BigCat1967 suggested and will bring a lot better results if done correctly, here is the link: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1605609
This is the problem with blog commenting. If you're an SEO specialist, I suggest that you make blog commenting a lower priority as compared to other topics.
I dont bother to check. Even if the comments are approved, that does not mean search engine spiders will crawl the content soon. I check the webmaster and yahoo to see whether the search engines count the backlinks. Sometimes it's annoying to see that out of 10 comments, 8 are approved, and out of 8, only 4 showed up in search engines. However, if the website has very high PR, I will take a risk. I rather have one or two comments from a PR8 website, than worry about 100 links from PR0 blogs.
well blog commenting is hard. 1st of all you have to find related topic blog. then have to read the post. after that give a descent reply, (do not spam) then there is no chance that your comment will be rejected. after forum posting blog commenting is great to get real visitors. although it gave you backlink as well. when ever do blog commenting just note the url and check back rather your reply get accp or not.
I completely agree with you on this advice. Blog commenting is not that easy but it should be done in proper way if you want to get approved.
Blog commenting used to be one of the best ways to get good backlinks, but some minority of SEO specialists have damaged all that. These days your comments are more likely to be removed. People should take the time to read articles before leaving comments and those comments should be constructive and related to the article. That way you are guaranteed a link.
for me it is a problem, but I write blogs that are leaving comments, and a few days pass them again to check their availability
I pay someone to do my blog commenting; it seems to help my site get more traffic. However I tend to believe that it is going to take more than just commenting on blogs to push my site up in the search engines.
If you don't mind sharing, how much do you pay that person to blog comment? I don't think it justifies paying someone for blog commenting - and all you are getting is traffic. Or perhaps I am missing something.
Dofollow blogs that dont require moderator approval are few and far between, if at all they exist these days, they would have been spammed to death. What I suggest is that you make your comments relevant to the post in hand so the moderator has higher chance of approving your comment.
Second that. However, the method is more passive because we have to rely on blog owners' discretion. Forum commenting is more active.
to get quick approval read the post carefully many WP bloggers set if that if a visitor comment before 5 minuts on landing page report spam so even your comment may not reach for moderation
I have found that it is worth your time to post on some of the blogs as long as you take the time to provide valuable content.
